The undertaker returned on raw tonight. Any thoughts on what he will do after wrestlemania.

the question should be, who he will face at Wrestlemania? HHH denied him a rematch... However, I have a feeling that he will keep showing up to intimidate HHH as a sign that he wants to retire

Yeah but who else do you think taker will face. Sheamus is going for a title. Cm punk amd Chris jericho are gonna face off. John Cena is facing the rock. Wade Barrett and Randy orton will most likely fight. That just leaves triple h

I'm hoping Taker will continue to stalk HHH until he changes his mind, hence being Undertakers cue to wanting to lose at WM and retire for once

Wow... you sure were quick to make a thread on this. You couldn't even have put *SPOILERS* in the title?
All I know is I certainly do not want to see another Triple H vs Undertaker match, but it's obvious if Taker challenged him that we're going to get it.

Triple H is a legend. Undertaker is a legend. They have been around the block more than once. They can put on five star matches. I'm perfectly ok with Paul Levesque vs Marc Calaway III

It will probably be HHH/Taker III. As much as I don't want to see it again, we will probably get it. I have the feeling Taker will do one more match after this one as he has been gone for what a year now and retire for good to get to 20-0 hopefully it will be Jericho or Cena in that battle. I think it will be weird to have a third match with them, but I do believe HBK will be involved somehow too.

To answer the original question, he will leave again for a year and come back just in time to take a spot on the card at next year's 'Mania away from someone who's worked all year.

For the record, you should be less vague with your titles. Seeing as I go by GMT, I click on this thread not knowing anything about Taker's return because I haven't had time to watch Raw and boom - it's ruined. Not that I care too much.

I'm supposed to know that you havn't watched raw.

And fuji, once again the undertaker has given his body for 20 years and is one of the greatest superstars of all time. He deserves to only come back once a year.

Um, you're supposed to be courteous of other members and not ruin things for them even by accident.

And I'm not having this conversation again, he deserves nothing more than to be retired.

You should know that not all of us are in the same timezone and watch Raw at the same time as you. I'm sorry that I can't stay up until four in the morning to watch a TV show. I probably should, it would save me being annoyed by this extremely vaguely titled thread. If I was to post TNA spoilers I wouldn't title the thread as 'Impact Wrestling', but maybe that's just me.

Playing Devil's Advocate for a moment, there isn't really much we can do regarding spoilers. Even if he had put *Possible spoilers* in the title, I'm sure anyone with a brain could figure out without coming into the thread that Undertaker must have returned at RAW last night.

With that being said what's done is done. What do you guys think Undertaker will be doing from now until WrestleMania?

Why? It's a topic regarding Undertaker's WrestleMania plans. It doesn't just pertain to last night.

Excuse me... actually he wants to know what he'll do AFTER WrestleMania.

First of all... why did you use their real names at the end? Lame. We've seen them go at it at Mania before, neither are exactly in their prime anymore and I don't think they could put on anything great this year. Saying they've been around on the block and have put on 5 star matches is like saying you would be interested in seeing a current day Jake The Snake vs Arn Anderson...

Original question: He'll leave until next year's Mania, it's his thing now.

You know the undertaker looks in great shape. He's really slimmed down. So maybe he will stick around.

Brandon and I had a discussion a while ago that if he returns again at wrestlemania 29 then it should be to lose to Wade Barrett.

The only person who I thought should have beaten him was (can't believe I'm saying this) Randy Orton. Orton was hot shit back to WM 21. If they didn't give it to Orton when he actually deserved the win to push him, I don't think they'd even consider Barrett beating him.

I'll let you guys in on a secret...

That was the day I officially started hating the streak. Randy Orton was 100% primed to be the guy to end the streak.

After that the streak became a completely useless tactic.

That's not the point dude, its who can benefit most from ending the streak. Miz could benefit at least as much as Barrett, if not more, depending on if they want him to be the top guy for years going forward.

The truth is, the point is moot, because the streak is never going to be broken.

I totally agree. Seven years on and I'm still bitter. The night after he wrestled his last match as The Legend Killer that I had grown to love. Afterwards, he wasn't worth shit.

Seeing as we're talking about next year. Daniel Bryan?

I honestly would take anyone beating the steak who'll be there awhile, someone who can get a push off it not someone who'd be gone in a year or two. Orton back at 21 would have been great, Miz would be another great choice. Now I don't mean someone who'll be there awhile who's already a big star. If Cena was to end the streak I'd be pissed as he doesn't need any real boost like that. At this point Orton doesn't either. I'd take Miz or Barrett right now. Maybe in a year or two Cody if Taker is still around.

If Mark (that's right, I said it!) finds someone he sees something in, someone he's willing to pass the torch to, I'm game.

Personally I think this is The Undertaker's last match. And it won't be him leaving the WWE 20-0. Personally, they will build up a program between him and HHH, where eventually HHH has no point but to accept the match. They will be booked into some sort of crazy ass match. They will meet, do there little set, and out of nowhere Shawn Michael's will come running down after the ref gets knocked out, and slide into the ring as the Taker will be going for the chokeslam, the crowd will create a loud pop, as The Taker turns around, bam! Sweet Chin Music! The Taker will rise again as Shawn Michael's hits another superkick, sliding HHH over him and revives the ref, letting HHH get the win, while they are celebrating, Shawn Michaels hit's HHH with sweet chin music, that could open some other doors. That would be fun in my eyes. Taker goes out 19-1, makes him look strong on the finish, and gives us the fans a chance to REALLY see the final match of HBK-HHH before they shift the roles they have off camera, or whatever they will do.

Personally, I think WWE needs to start pushing new talent.

I would personally love to see this. But more likely than not, HBK will cost HHH the match. His ego won't let his friend do something he couldn't.

WWE really should be pushing new talent. Which is why I'd like more than anything is for a younger superstar to end the streak.

The Chosen Messiah
02-01-2012, 12:57 PM
Yeah that would be nice to see a younger superstar, but the question is WWE or even Mark gonna wanna let the streak go? I'm pretty sure Mark has alot of storyline pull so he might be the type who doesn't wanna let this one go. But, if they didn't do that, I wouldn't wanna see Randy Orton do it because they already had that chance and missed it.

No way in hell John Cena should do it. I'm sorry he doesn't need it. I would give it to The Miz, he could really run with it. But, if I REALLY had my choice, I would snatch someone like say Cody Rhodes or something.

I honestly laugh at people who are all OMG UNDERTAKER!!!! No offence to anyone personally (haven't read the responses, not sure if anyone's pants got drenched when they saw Taker) but we KNOW it is getting closer to WM time and this is the time when Taker decides he will show up again.

I think he will make it 20-0 and then retire. I like Taker but his shit has gone on long enough. He comes and goes as he pleases and just shows up around WM time. It's clear he is old and just needs to hang up his boots. Looks good on him that he lasted this long and he is still in great shape but his body can't handle a lot of bumps and bruises anymore.
